The Enterprising Solutions programme is now working with over 50 projects right across Wales. Many of these are emerging new community enterprises, who are still forming their ideas and developing their governance structures, with support from their Enterprising Solutions Peer Mentor. Others are more advanced and are working on their business plans and accessing start up funding or bidding for procurement opportunities for their enterprises. As the enterprises establish, we will post profiles of them and their businesses onto the projects area. Here is a flavour of the kinds of community enterprise ideas that the programme is currently supporting:
- Community shops and pubs
- Autism support services
- Community hubs
- Community growing projects
- Youth services
- Recruitment agencies
- Equine therapy
- Community green spaces (parks and land)
- Sports related enterprises, including football clubs, cycling, sports facilities
- Community cinema, gallery, dance studios and other arts activities
- Community radio stations
