The chapel is an outward focused church with social action projects into the Community. We have been supporting the group to open a ‘pay as you feel cafe’
The cafe is run by volunteers and uses ‘intercepted food’ donated by supermarkets which is close to sell by date. Plus vegetables from the Welcome To Our Woods community allotment.
There are no prices on the menu, you just leave a tip on the way out what you felt your meal was worth.
The Leaner Gleaner cafe is part of The Real Junk Food Project which is an international project.
