People supporting people to take enterprising action against climate change
Renew Wales is a practitioner led programme to help Welsh communities to tackle the impacts of climate change. DTA Wales, the Centre for Alternative Technology and other key partners and practitioners across Wales are leading the programme.
Renew Wales offers groups free training, mentoring and advice from an experience community practitioner, and helps by being a supportive network of likeminded people.
Renew Wales is supported through the Sustainable Steps Programme delivered through BIg Fund and funded by money from Dormant Bank Accounts.
Are you part of a community, based anywhere in Wales, that would like to develop a project that will help to tackle the impact of climate change. Your group could be a tenants or residents association, a faith group, a youth club, a rugby club, a women’s group, or any other type of local community group.
Your group might be thinking of developing a renewable energy project, a local food club, a community market garden, making land or buildings more sustainable and energy efficient, a transport or waste re-use scheme, or taking on any other kind of project that will help tackle the impact of climate change.
Visit the Renew Wales website and register your interest.
